Mrs. Zeppora Lawrence, age 95, of Canton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Zeppora was born December 14, 1929, in the Jamaican parish of St. Catherine, to Lucildia Depass. Zeppora married the love of her life, Arthur Lawrence on January 25, 1969, in Kingston, Jamaica. Zeppora and her family migrated to the United States from Kingston, Jamaica in 1982. They moved to New York and decided to settle in Canton, Georgia. As mother and grandmother to all, this is the place where she created a central home for all of her family to build amazing, lasting memories. Zeppora is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Lawrence and daughter Arlene Thompson(survived by Richard Thompson). Zeppora is survived by her sons Cleveland (Sonia [deceased]) Cole of Johns Creek; Louis (Pearl) Cole of Woodstock; Clifton (Vinette) Cole of Woodstock; Gregory (Sandy) Lawrence of Atlanta; and daughters Jennifer Cole of Holly Springs and Maxine Lawrence of Canton. Zeppora is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Zeppora lived a remarkable and wonderful life surrounded by immense love from the many generations of family around her.
