William “Bill” Colbert Flowers, age 70, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026. Bill was born
on September 5, 1955, in Mississippi and was raised in Georgia, where he spent the majority of
his life surrounded by family, friends, and the community he loved.
Bill resided in Canton, Georgia with his beloved wife of 42 years, Janice Flowers. Together they
built a life centered on love, commitment, and family. Bill was a dedicated husband, father,
grandfather, and uncle whose quiet strength and steady presence meant so much to those who
knew him.
Bill was a devoted father figure to Amy DeMasse Guest and her husband Ray Guest, and
Kristopher DeMasse, whom he helped raise and care for throughout their lives. He was also a
proud grandfather to Owen DeMasse, Trevor DeMasse, Austyn Guest, Avery Guest, and Aidyn
Guest, who were among his greatest joys and blessings.
Bill dedicated 25 years of his career to GDE Renovations, where he worked as a Construction
Project Manager. He was respected for his strong work ethic, leadership, and dedication to his
craft.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Flowers; his children and grandchildren; and his siblings,
Dana Flowers and Giovonna Flowers, and their respective families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Flowers and Louise Faulk Flowers, as well as
his brothers, James Deward “J.D.” Flowers, Jr. and Isham Flowers.
Bill will be remembered for his loyalty to his family, his hardworking nature, and the love he
showed through everyday actions. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Canton Funeral Home, located
at 10655 E Cherokee Drive, Canton, Georgia 30114. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed
by the ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
The family appreciates the thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
