Wayne Dale Lineberry Sr., 82, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023.
Wayne was born in Marceline, MO on October 2nd, 1940. He was an only child to Laverna and Charles Oren Lineberry.
As a child Wayne’s family moved to Clinton, MO, where he grew up and attended Clinton Highschool, as a proud Clinton Cardinal. Wayne also attended Central Methodist University, Class of 1963.
Wayne had a prosperous career in Sales and was considered a Leader in the Specialty Sales industry. He had a passion for building solid relationships with others that lasted throughout his life.
Wayne was a loving husband to Sandy Lineberry and an amazing Father to his son Dale Lineberry. He loved sports, the outdoors, travel, antiquing was always active, and had a spark for life. He was an avid golfer, runner, fly fisherman, reader, and loved playing tennis until he was in his sixties.
He would light up the room whenever he entered it. His laugh was contagious and he would engage in conversation with anyone that was within earshot of him. He loved his friends and family and took time out of his day to always stay connected either via a phone call, text, email or social media.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Laverna, his dad, Charlie, and his dog Bubba Hyde.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Lineberry, his son, Wayne Dale Lineberry Jr., daughter in law, Jennifer Lineberry, grandsons Kenzie Lineberry and Sean Lineberry, stepdaughter, Angela Wanicki, son in law, Steven Wanicki and their children, Adam Wanicki, Alexandra Wanicki and stepson Brian Adams, daughter in law, Susan Myers-Adams and granddaughters, Caroline Adams, Lily Adams, and Grace Adams.
Wayne was loved by all that new him and will be missed.
A date has not been set to celebrate Wayne’s life. The family will communicate a date and location as soon as it is determined.
