"Turkey" Terry Brown, age 63, of Ball Ground passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. Terry was born in Atlanta to the late Hugh and Viola Rollins Brown. Terrys sisters Dorothy and Jane stepped in to help raise Terry and his twin brother, Jerry. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Terry loved to play practical jokes including his infamous, "Turkey Terry Game" played at Christmas. He loved to bowl, to make masterpieces out of simple blocks of wood, to play his guitar, and to sing- but above all he loved to help others and to bring a smile to everyones face. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Lynn Brown; two sons and a daughter, Roy Alderman (Jessica), Joseph Aaron Brown (Miranda), and Terrie Garrison (David); fourteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters and one twin brother, Barbara Ivey Griffin, Dorothy "Dot" Gilbert, Jane Luffman, and Jerry Brown; and many loving nieces and nephews including one special niece, JoAnn Pellegrino. Terrys life will be celebrated by his close family and friends at a later date. Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park has charge of arrangements.
