Mrs. Ruth Elaine ( MacIntyre ) Dennis of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away March 7th, 2017 , after an extended illness, surrounded by her family . A visitation will be held onSunday, March 12, at12:30 pmwith a Celebration of Life Luncheon following at1pm, at the Bethesda Baptist Church, 146 Bethesda Church Road, NE, Calhoun GA. All friends and family are encouraged to bring your favorite covered dish to the luncheon. Mrs. Dennis is survived by her Daughter , Julie Ann Walter Healy ,Her son in law, Richard J. Healy , Her Son Gregory Paul Dennis andHer daughter in law, Kyndall Diane (Smith) Dennis . She was the proud Nana , of Four Grandchildren,Daniel Healy , Michael Healy, Makinsey Dennis , Raegan Dennis . Ruth was born , December 9th , 1945 in Oneonta , New York . She has joined her siblings Sonny ( karl MacIntyre , Dorothy MacIntyre, Betty MacRae , and baby Richard MacIntyre in Heaven , where she is praising Jesus and doing an Irish Jig. She could not wait to go home and be with the Lord, and her loved ones . Mrs. Dennis was woman of faith , and loved her church family at Bethsada Baptist Church of Calhoun, GA, whereshe especially loved her Pastor Wesley Hunt . She also was involved in several Ministries over the years in calhoun, and was the clothing coordinator at Covenant House Ministries , She loved Vacation Bible school and taught the little ones , and loved herSundaySchool Group . She worked as a Laundress at Richardson Road laundromat , in Calhoun where she had a laundry business, and was a retired beautician, formerly of Heavenly Hair Salon, where she was co-owner. We will miss her terribly , she was the Matriarch of our Family. Wewill miss her contagious laugh , her Godly counsel , her sweet smile , her bubbly personality and we celebrate her life and rejoice with her that she has finished the race and kept the faith . She is home at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
