Robert P. Young Jr. "Bob", 68, passed away from Lewy Body Dementia and Kidney Cancer, on October 3, 2025, at his residence in Fort Gaines, Georgia. He was born August 15, 1957, in Barre, Vermont, the son of Robert P. Young Sr. and Anna L. (LaCount) Young. Bob graduated from Spaulding High School, in Barre, Vermont. Class of 1976. He enjoyed working for The Home Depot and Crown Bolt. He loved fishing, golf, playing and collecting guitars. Loving and playing with his dogs. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Dorothy (Dottie). Surviving in addition to his Fiancé Judi Rice, of Fort Gaines, GA is his sister Ruth Young of Canton, GA, Patti Johnson and her husband Gary Johnson of Canton, GA, brother-in-law Randy Johnson and his wife Shelly Johnson of Dawsonville, GA, nieces Mindy Johnson, Kristy Johnson, and nephew Mikael Johnson of Canton, GA. Nephews Steven Guillemette and his wife Jennifer of TN, and Billy Price of GA. Great nieces Ashlyn Guillemette, Gisele Price and a great nephew Justin Guillemette of GA. And Sean Rice of ME.
