Robert Lee Hamil of 8985 Union Hill Road passed on

February 17, 2026. Robert was born on October 23, 1939

in Atlanta, GA.

He was predeceased by his wife Beckie Hamil, his

son Robert Hamil Jr; his parents Leola Hamil and Arthur

Hamil as well as several brothers and sisters.

He leaves behind a daughter, Debbie Wheeling of Canton , GA;

two grandsons, Josh Wheeling (wife Kellie Wheeling) of

Canton; Brad Wheeling ( wife Tonya) of Canton Ga; six

Great Grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Robert worked the construction business all his life

mainly running a loader.  He was loved by all that knew

him. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery Friday  February

20th - Visitation is from 10-2 with service at the funeral home at 2 with burial immediately after.
