Robert N Adams

Bob loved a good adventure and was blessed to have many throughout his lifetime. He was a gifted artist, an avid nature lover who loved to travel.  He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Bob graduated from Emerson High School (Gary, IN) in 1959 and from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN) School of Pharmacy in 1963.  As a pharmacist Bob worked in hospitals, sales and retail pharmacy throughout his 47-year career, finally retiring from Kroger Pharmacy in 2010. 

Bob is preceded in death by his parents.  He leaves behind his wife, Margaret (Oresik); children Keri Hanna, Kelli (David) Dyerly, Alicia (Kevin) Lanier, and Alec (Lindsay) Adams; his younger brother Michael (Kathe’) Adams, and younger sister Sharon (Ed) Monette; grandchildren Joel  Dyerly, Warren Dyerly, Morgan Hanna, Nicholas (Ekaterina) Dyerly, Talia (Jake) Ingham, Spencyr Hanna, Katelin Lanier, Kali Lanier, Kara Lanier, Bauer Adams, and Elizabeth Adams; and great-granddaughters Charlotte and Ines Dyerly. Bob is also survived by many more loving family and friends.  

Bob once wrote “Whenever you see a beautiful spot on the ocean shore or the grandeur of a mountain stream – think of me and know how much I love these things….and when I’ve passed – hear my voice in the soft ocean breeze or the wind through the towering pines…feel a gentle rain and know somehow, every drop will be my touch….” 

A graveside service for Bob will be held on Friday May 26, 2023 at 2:00pm at Macedonia Memorial Park located at 10655 E Cherokee Dr. Canton Ga 30115. Immediately following the family will host a gathering at their home located at 1297 Ficklen Church Way Canton ga 30114.
