Reo Kanakaris, 13 of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta- Egleston Hospital. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 from Our Lady of The Mountains Roman Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Canton Funeral Home. Reo enjoyed Legos, drawing cartoons, making people laugh. He loved younger kids, and animals but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Reo was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Kanakaris. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Eri Kanakaris; brother, Kaito Kanakaris, Kento Kanakaris; grandparents, Barbara Kanakaris, Keiko and Tadashi Takahashi; great grandmother, Genevieve Pallamollo; God parents, Lorraine and Bryan Oglesby; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Due to COVID-19 facial coverings are suggested and crowd size is limited due to social distancing.
