Obituary

Peggy Anne (Siewert) Nash, 91, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in Canton, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born in Winter Park, Florida, on August 8, 1933, daughter of E. Ernest Siewert and Lavelle M. McSwain. She grew up in Winter Park with her younger brother, Dennis, who was born soon after she asked her parents for a sibling. After graduating from Winter Park High School in 1952 and Orlando Junior College in 1954, she met the love of her life, Pat Nash, on a blind date. They married on June 1, 1956, at Knowles Chapel on the campus of Rollins College in Winter Park. They raised three children together Sandra, Scott, and Kelly. Peggy was a devoted, caring mother, and made sure her children went to church. She loved dachshunds, going on Caribbean cruises, and enjoying episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond with Pat. Ordering and stocking best-selling books for a major retailer was her favorite job. She was an avid Miami Dolphins football fan and rarely missed a game on television. On those Sundays when the Dolphins game wasnt televised locally, she would call the area TV stations and demand an explanation. Peggy is survived by three children, Sandra LeBlanc, Scott Nash (Alyssa), and Kelly Nash (Susan); five grandchildren, Tanner LeBlanc, Jenna Nash, Tyler Nash, Paige Nash, and Wesley Nash; and a brother, Dennis Siewert (Cher). She shared her life with Pat for over 62 years, who predeceased her in 2018. She was also predeceased by a son-in-law, John LeBlanc, and an infant son, Michael Nash. She will be dearly missed. Graveside services to be held at the Palm Cemetery in Winter Park, Florida, at the convenience of the family.
