Paul Richard Folks, 64 from Jasper passed away suddenly on June 7, 2019. Originally from Vinton Louisiana, Richard a carpenter had settled in Jasper with his surviving spouse Janice. He was predeceased by his parents Bertrum and Marie Folks and a son Andy. In addition to his wife Janice, he is survived by sons Hoye Folks, Aaron Cook(Tabatha), Seth Cook(Samantha), and daughters Brandee Deshotel(Dwayne) and Trisha Jones. Additionally, Richard leaves 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A memorial service will be held Tuesday June 11, 2019 at 2pm in the chapel of Canton Funeral Home. From 1-2 pm the family will receive family and friends at the funeral home. Richards son Hoye Folks will officiate the service. The family has requested that no flowers be sent.
