Patsy Marie Soper, 75 of Canton, GA passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. She was born in Savannah, Ga. to the late Aldon and Dorothy Edwards. Patsy attended Groves High School prior to meeting the love of her life Gerald Soper, to whom she was married for 56 beautiful and loving years. Patsy enjoyed many aspects of life, but what she loved most were times spent with her family, travelling (especially cruises), thrifting or playing games on her iPad. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a talented cook. Surviving relatives are her husband Gerald, daughter; Jan George (Adam), son; James Soper (Kristine), sisters; Vicki Duke, Shirley Osborne and Sharon Wilkes (Chris), Grandsons; Nathan Rogge, Michael Soper and Alex George, granddaughters; Kristyn Rogge and Mary Soper and great-grandson; Wyatt Rogge, as well as four nieces and three nephews. A graveside memorial will be held at Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114) on August 31 at 9:00am.
