Olivia Lynn Lacey, 36, passed away on October 10, 2025, at Naval Station Great Lakes

in North Chicago, Illinois. Born on March 8, 1989, in Marietta, Georgia, Olivia lived a life

marked by dedication, compassion, and service.

A proud graduate of Kell High School, Olivia went on to earn her degree from Georgia

State University in 2019. In August 2024, she answered the call to serve her country by

joining the United States Navy, where she quickly distinguished herself through

leadership, perseverance, and commitment to her country. She excelled in the Navy

and advanced through the ranks at an impressive pace.

Olivia was deeply devoted to her family and friends and found joy in the simple

pleasures of life — exploring nature, maintaining her fitness, and expressing her

creativity through cooking. Above all, her most cherished role was that of a mother to

her beloved son, Grayson. Through him, her spirit and love will continue to shine

brightly.

She is survived by her son, Grayson Lewis; her sisters, Lauren Lundrigan (Daniel) and

Sadie Clark (Dillon); her mother, Claudia Lacey; her father, William Lacey; and her

grandmother, Betty McCandless.

Olivia will be remembered for her unwavering dedication, warmth, and strength —

qualities that touched all who knew her.

Funeral Services are planned for Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 2:00pm preceded by a visitation from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
