Karla Sue Herrington Pulliam, age 70, of Canton, GA passed away on July 5, 2025, in the home of family. She was born on February 20, 1955, in Americus, Georgia, the daughter of Marvin and Claudia (Cobb) Herrington. She married Pat Pulliam and they celebrated 24 years of marriage together in Arlington, TX.

Karla graduated from Newton County High School in Covington, Georgia and later graduated from Georgia College in Milledgeville with a BS in Home Economics. After teaching Home Economics a few years at Holly Springs Elementary, she chose a new career as a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines-a career where she worked for 40 years until she retired.

She loved hosting family and friends at her home in Arlington, TX, spending time by Joe Pool Lake, and her dogs throughout the years. She always enjoyed her many trips back home to Georgia to visit with family and friends.

Karla is survived by her dad, Marvin Herrington, brother Frank Herrington (Linda), her sisters Wanda Runyan and Donna Dye, her stepson PJ Pulliam (daughter Madison), and her nieces and nephews: Christa, Scott, Justin, Joey, and Karla-Rose.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, July 8, from 10-12 at Canton Funeral Home at Macedonia Memorial Park with service and burial following.
