Judith Ann Mazzarelli

Judith Ann Mazzarelli, 82, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 12, 2025.

Judy was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 28th,1942 to the late James and Agnes Weighill. She studied piano for years and as an adult, she credited her 100 words per minute typing skills to her piano training. Judy graduated from Lourdes High School in Chicago in 1960.

Judy worked as a secretary for Sears Roebuck after high school. Later, Judy worked for AMOCO for many years where she moved up the ladder to sales. While at AMOCO, Judy met Anthony “Tony” Mazzarelli. They spent 41 years together. They started their married life together in Roswell, GA. They later moved to St. Louis, MO where they spent a few years. They returned to Georgia settling in Canton. In Canton, they built their dream home and a rich life full of friends and travel.

Judy enjoyed traveling all her life. She also loved dancing, golf, bowling and socializing with her many friends and family.

In addition to her spouse Tony, survivors include Stepchildren, Dyann Koterba and husband Dan of Roswell, GA, Maureen McInnis and husband Pat of Suwanee, GA, Carla Flack and husband Wes of Clovis, CA and Jim Mazzarelli and wife Shanna of Chicago. Judy was known as “Ju Ju” to 8 grandchildren, Hannah, Miranda, Henry, Kendrick, Sean, Lilly, Patricia and Michael. She is also survived by many cousins.

Judy was an honest, straightforward, kind and generous person. You could always count on Judy. We were fortunate to be in her life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, May 21st at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 490 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, GA 30188.There will be a light lunch and time for gathering in the Family Life Center of the church until 1:30. Inurnment will be held at Macedonia Memorial Park by family at a later time.
