Joseph "Joe" Nemeth

Joseph Paul “Joe” Nemeth, age 74, passed away Sunday at his residence.

Joe was born in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Joseph Nemeth and Virginia Saminski Nemeth.  Joe drove a truck for movie productions all over Georgia including Savannah.  In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Hause; and brothers and sisters, Mike Nemeth, Larry Nemeth, Eugene Nemeth, Rose Nemeth, and Margaret Cook.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 28 years, Judy Nemeth; children, Cindy Nemeth of Moreland, Sonny Nemeth of Jasper, Shellie Reid of Dalton, Tim Jones of Awendaw, South Carolina, and Greg Jones of Cumming; son in law, George Hause (Dawn); brothers and sisters, Carl Nemeth, Mary Nemeth, Bob Nemeth, Jim Nemeth, Richard Nemeth, and Vera Nemeth; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his faithful canine companion, Sylvie.

A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 26, 2017 in Macedonia Memorial Park at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery.  Father Paul Hogan will officiate.
