Joe Elrod Sr.

June 29, 1940 — February 7, 2021

Joe Davis Elrod Sr., 80 of Woodstock, GA passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from Canton Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Landmark Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Elrod enjoyed squirrel hunting and collecting knives but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Gail Elrod; parents, Bill and Irene Elrod; son, Joe Davis Elrod Jr.; several brother and sisters.  He is survived by his children, Gayla (Danny) Key, Audrey (Mark) Clements, Eddie Elrod; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Sara (Vernie) Worley; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions seating is limited to 50 people and mask are recommended.
