Joan Elizabeth York 88, of Ball Ground passed away May 12, 2023 after a recent injury. Originally from Syracuse NY, Joan was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Betty Schug, and her husband Bill York. She is survived by her children Jeff York(Lucinda), Mike York(Christina) and Daughter Debbie Powers(Bruce). Also surviving are brothers Jimmy Schug and Fritz Schug, sisters Patty Kish and Jean Zollo as well as 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
