James Carl Chandler, age 71 of Canton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Cartersville, Georgia on January 14, 1954, to the late Fred and Ann Chandler Sr.

James loved being a joker to others and never met a stranger. He was always helping others in need and would even do without himself. He served in the U.S. Navy, and afterwards, he met his wife, Connie, of 43 years of marriage. James worked in Cartersville as a supervisor in the carpet industry. He retired to Canton, Georgia these past few years.

James Cherished his family. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Derek Chandler, and Fred Chandler Jr.

James is survived by his wife, Connie, Sister, Stephanie Thompson, and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved deeply.

No funeral services are scheduled at this time, and will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery at a later date.
