Gus Kirchhof, 91, of Canton, GA passed away February 1, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy. Born October 1, 1926 in Lockhart, TX, he is survived by his son Mark and daughter-in-law Jill of Kennesaw, grandchildren Jennifer Willis, Kyle Kirchhof, and Katie Reis, and 2 great grandchildren, Mia Reis and Jackson Willis. Gus was known as the "blueberry" man, running his pick-your-own blueberry patch aptly named Blueberry Hill in Canton for 20 years. He was a 1951 graduate of Texas A&M and was a WWII veteran with the Army Air Corps serving in Germany and England. He worked for 30 years for Shell Chemical Company.
