George Albert Holloway, 77 of Canton, GA passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Mr. Holloway was cremated and memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 from Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Brooks officiating. A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. George was an Army Veteran and an avid fisherman. He enjoyed looking at stamps, watching wrestling, playing his banjo, being outside but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Holloway; mother, Hilda Richardson. He is survived by his children, Machelle Holloway (Chris Trusty), Monica Lobo (Danny); 6 grandchildren, Thomas Holloway, Lauren Bates, Brandon Lobo, Dillion Lobo, Steven Lobo and Daniel Lobo. Due to COVID-19 facial coverings are recommendedand social distancing guideline will be followed.
