In Loving Memory of Gail Brandt Oakes
Gail Oakes, beloved and devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 7 after courageously facing many years of health challenges. She was 67 years old.
Throughout her life, Gail was known for her boundless kindness, her gentle heart, and her unwavering love for her family. She gave selflessly to those around her, always putting others before herself, and her warmth touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted and caring wife to David Oakes and a loving, supportive mother to Brittany Oakes roles she cherished most in life.
Despite her medical struggles, Gail faced each day with grace, patience, and quiet strength. Her faith, compassion, and generous spirit never wavered, serving as an inspiration to all who walked alongside her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and goodness that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her love will forever remain.
A memorial service will be held on June 13 at Little River Methodist Church to celebrate her life. Visiting hours will start at 2pm, and the service will begin at 3:30pm.
