Mr. Freddie (Fred) Eugene Jarvis, 67, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Northside Hospital - Cherokee, with his wife and son by his side. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2 pm in the Canton Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Mike Ware officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 am that day until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Jarvis enjoyed working, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Mary Jarvis and son-in-law, Joey Hancock. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jennifer Jarvis; sons, Freddie and Bill Jarvis, daughter, April Hancock, all of Illinois, son, John (Megan) Jarvis of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, Chance and Laci Holder, Michael Williams, Tori Cawvey, Madi Jarvis, all of Illinois and Porter and Houston Jarvis, of Jasper, GA; great-grandchild, Nathaniel, of Illinois; brother, Donald (Cindi) Jarvis, sisters, Brenda (Gene) Henley, Linda (Ron) Howell, Denise (Ron) Murphy, all from Illinois and sister, Priscilla (Eddie) Dalton of Texas.
