Frank Leslie Brundage Jr, 80, of Canton, GA, passed away on November 13, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on May 27, 1943, in Newburgh, NY, to the late Frank Brundage Sr. and Margaret Newell.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964. He was a dedicated and skilled serviceman, embodying the values of honor, courage, and commitment.
After his military service, Frank pursued a career as a skilled drywall finisher and owned an appliance moving company before finishing his career as a truck driver for Local 445. His dedication and strong work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Charlotte Brundage, his son Frank Brundage III, daughter-in-law Janice Brundage, and their children Cassandra and Melanie who reside in Canton, Georgia. He is also survived by his son Dustin Brundage, daughter-in-law Priscilla Brundage, and their children Gregory, Emilia, and Nathan who reside in Walden, New York; siblings Barbara Cooper and William Brundage. Frank was predeceased by his sister Gwenda Lynn.
Frank and his wife shared a profound commitment to nurturing children, extending their love by fostering several foster children over the years. He enjoyed sports and nothing more than watching both his children and grandchildren play, he would never miss an event. Through the years he also served as local little league president, board member, and assistant softball coach at Mt St Mary College in Newburgh NY. Frank loved to bake and was always called upon for his skill as a drywall finisher by family and friends even after he retired.
A ceremony to honor Frank's life will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA, on December 27th at 11:30 AM.
Frank will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
