Dinah O'Shields, was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who left this world on November 12, after a short battle with cancer. Dinah was surrounded by her loving family as she peacefully transitioned to her eternal rest. Dinah was born on January 2nd, 1953 and throughout her 70 years of life, she touched the hearts of everyone she knew, she never left the house without her hair just right and always had a smile on her face. She was the devoted wife of Johnny OShields and together they shared a life filled with love, laughter and hardships that they were able to overcome together. She was the proud mother of four headstrong children, each of whom inherited her adventurous spirit. In addition to her four children, Dinah had five adoring grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to her life. She took great delight in watching them grow, celebrating their achievements. Dinah's journey was not without heartbreak, as she experienced the loss of her husband Johnny, two beloved children Angela and Rodney and one cherished grandchild Aaron. Dinah is survived by her two children, Jeff OShields and Wayne OShields, and four grandchildren, Zander OShields, Samantha Webb, Brandon Barnes and Rosalie OShields. A celebration of Dinahs life will be held on Friday November 17th at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park.
