Deanna Mae Stalker was born on September 30, 1937 in Little Washington, Pennsylvania. She passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, from complications of pneumonia, in Canton, Georgia, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 85 years old. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Delmer Stalker. They share two sons, Dale Stalker (daughter-in-law, Vicki Stalker) and Donald Stalker (daughter-in-law, Marlene Stalker). Four grandchildren, Lindsay Fader (husband Sean Fader), Kimberly Mondragon (husband Seau Mondragon), David Stalker (wife Whitney Stalker) and Luke Stalker. Seven great-grandchildren, Kara Fader, Logan Mondragon, Lauren Fader, Makayla Mondragon, Naomi Mondragon, Liam Stalker and James De Luca. Deanna is the daughter, and only child, of John and Florence Schell, also of Little Washington, Pennsylvania. Deanna and Delmer were married on August 17, 1957 in Pennsylvania. They moved to California from Pennsylvania in 1959, with their son, Dale, and their son Donald came along shortly thereafter. She lived in Southern California until the move to Georgia in 2021, to be near her son Dale. She was very active in her church and Eastern Star (Worthy Matron and Deputy Grand Matron) in California. They also took many camping trips and cruises with friends in the 1980s and 1990s. After moving to Georgia, she lived in the Independent Living Facility, The Phoenix at Union Hill, in Canton, Georgia, until her passing. Deanna loved going to Happy Hour, and putting together puzzles and playing cards with her friends. She loved to gamble and was very disappointed to learn that there are no casinos in Georgia when she moved there 2 years ago. A small gathering was held on Sunday, May 14th, which included immediate family only. No other services will be scheduled.
