He spoke several languages and enjoyed traveling around the world. He began hiking with his parents when he was little, spending hours walking, talking, and exploring nature. As an adult, he became an avid hiker and hiked in different parts of the nation and a lot in various parts of Georgia. He enjoyed snowboarding and he took trips with friends and family.  He loved to play Magic and traveled to different cities for tournaments. His love for food came from spending so much time in Nana’s kitchen with his grandparents and his friends from school. He became an avid foodie and thousands of people read his food reviews as he adventured through life looking for his next great meal or speciality drink. He also enjoyed spending time with his sister in Mexico and here in the United States. He was known for his random acts of kindness with family, friends and coworkers.

Alex is survived by his mom, Gigi Wallace, his dad, Javier Rodriguez, his sister, Genevieve Roblero, his grandparents Janice and Rod McMurrey, and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a memorial bench will be purchased and placed in a forest where he liked to hike.
