Claudia Cobb Herrington of Canton, GA passed away on December 2, 2017.  She is survived by her husband Marvin Smith Herrington, 4 children: son, Marvin Franklin Herrington (Linda), and 3 daughters—Wanda Herrington Runyan, Donna Herrington Dye (Bob), and Karla Herrington  Pulliam (Pat), and grandchildren Christa Bowen, Justin Runyan, Scott Herrington, Joey Dye, Rose Dye, P. J. Pulliam, Greg Messina, and Chris Messina, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and special caregivers and friends Penny Dalton and Terri Smith.

Claudia was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Cobb and Sabra Coleman Cobb of Crisp County GA. She was born September 28, 1930 in Crisp County.  She is preceded in death by grandsons Joshua Karlyn Runyan (1995) and David Jason Runyan (2016) and her 10 older siblings.

She was a devoted and beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother and her legacy of caring for others will be with those she loved for years to come. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at Canton Funeral Home at Macedonia Memorial Park on December 4, 2017 at 1:00pm with the Reverend Ken May officiating. Visitation will be on December 4, 2017 from 11:00am -1:00pm  just prior to service.  Burial will be at Macedonia Memorial Park. Donations can be made in her memory to the Antioch Christian Church Growth Fund or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family would like to thank Home Instead Senior Care and Kindred(Gentiva) Hospice for their excellent care and support to our mother and also to our entire family.
