Charles Ellis Roop, age 81 of Dawsonville, GA passed away at his home on March 31, 2024.

Charles was born in Knoxville, TN in 1942. Charles retired from AT&T after 25 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Wanda Sue Roop. He is survived by Sons Randall Roop (Dana) of Canton, GA, Duane Roop
(Suzette) of Concord, NC, Terry Roop (Levada) of Ball Ground, GA. He is also survived by his sister Linda
Schuttler (Brad) of KS and Earl Roop of TN. Grandchildren Austin Roop (Mary) of Leesburg, VA, Haley
Lalone (Tyler) of Kannapolis, NC, Holden Roop (Kerrie) of Jasper, Ga, Jordan Newberry (Josh) of Ball
Ground, GA. Charles is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Charles was also preceded in death by his father and mother James Kyle and Anna Lee Roop of Knoxville, TN. Sister,
Barbara Dunn of Knoxville, TN and infant brother Clarence Roop.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 5 to 7. Service will be Friday, April 5th , 2024 at 1:00 at Canton
Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park, 10655 East Cherokee Drive, Canton, GA.30115.
