Charles Patrick Insalaca
March 17, 1951 – September 23, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Charles Patrick Insalaca—a devoted husband, loving father, proud Poppy, and treasured friend. Born in the Bronx, New York, on March 17, 1951, Charles was the beloved son of Lenny and Judy Insalaca.
Affectionately known as "Charlie," he was a man of deep warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He shared a beautiful life with his wife of 53 years, Jean (née Vignola), and together they raised four sons: Leonard (wife Maria; children Charlie, Geni, John Michael, and Theresa), Michael, Charles Jr. (children Emily, CJ, and Joey), and Christopher (wife Teresa; children Alexis, Ashlynn, Aliyah, and Dominic). Charlie's pride in his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and his legacy continues through them.
Charlie found joy in life's simple pleasures—he loved good food, game shows, and being surrounded by those he loved. His humor, kindness, and steadfast devotion made him a source of strength and comfort to all who knew him.
He will be remembered not only for his generous heart and loving spirit but also for the countless ways he made others feel valued, heard, and cared for.
Family and friends are invited to honor Charlie's life during visitation at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a vigil at 5:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 29 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, followed by entombment.
Charlie is survived by his beloved wife Jean, his sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, his sister Joanne Patanella, and a large extended family.
His memory will forever be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
