Candice Ann (Wilson) Merritt, 71, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on February 11 th , 2025. Candice was born November 27, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Anthony Wilson and Nancy (Rorert) Wilson. She moved frequently as a child, but had called the Atlanta area home since 1978. Candice worked at High Meadows School for 33 years, mostly as a teacher, but also worked in the library and tutored students. High Meadows was her "special place" and an important part of her adult life. Candice is survived by her husband, Thomas Merritt; daughter, Kristin Merritt, of Wesley Chapel, Florida; and son, Jason Merritt, of Canton, Georgia.
