Alivia Grace Mynes, age 18, of Canton, GA went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2022. Alivia
was born in Chattanooga, TN. She was a valued employee at Newk’s Eatery.
Alivia graduated from Creekview High School in Canton, GA and was a freshman volleyball player at Bryan College in Dayton, TN. Alivia passed together with her father, Chris, in an automobile accident. She is preceded in death
by her grandmother, Betty Mynes, Uncle John Gallagher, and Aunt Karen Klinger. Alivia is survived by
her loving mother, Jennifer Schaefer Mynes; sister, Sydney Faith Mynes; grandparents, Timothy (Sharen)
Schaefer; Grandfather Edward Mynes; Uncle Jason Schaefer (Ashley Young); Uncle Brian Mynes; Aunt
Diana (Greg) Geist; Uncle Kevin Gallagher, cousins Kristin (Billy) Pullman, Tara (Tyler) Beal, Derek Darnall
and a host of friends.
Alivia lit up every room she entered with her infectious smile. Alivia was unapologetically herself with
her huge heart and loyal devotion to family and friends, she made a huge impact in her community. In a
room full of strangers, Alivia always made friends and would make you feel like you were never alone.
She always put family first and loved having long talks with her dad and snuggles with her sister. Alivia
adored her mom and always kept her updated on anything and everything that was going on with
herself and all her friends. She was a standout volleyball player at Creekview and 575 Volleyball Club
which led her to the next level of play in college.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday December 3, 2022 at Revolution Church located at 125 Union Hill Trail Canton Ga 30115. Memorial service will begin at 12:00 noon, preceded by visitation from 9:00am until 12:00 noon.
